JBW French Country Owl Stitching ♡

Pattern: French Country Owl by JBW Designs
Fabric: 32ct cream Belfast linen by Zweigart
Threads: recommended DMC
Start/Finish: 8/27-28/2016

I was in the mood to stitch something fall/autumn themed this weekend. I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the summer to end. It doesn't help that all the craft stores have their fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving selections out! The weather needs to catch up to the stores :)

Picking a pattern from my newly purchased stash, I chose the owl from JBW Designs. A fun and fast pattern to stitch up.

Have you guys seen the newest Just Cross Stitch magazines?! So many cute fall season/holiday designs. It is hard to choose my next project.

I hope you had a fabulous weekend! Have a great week :)

Until next time >___<

  1. Oh, Rachel! I am back and trying to catch up on blogs. I am so sorry I disappeared, tough summer. Your Star Wars cookies are too darn cute. Not too cute to eat, though. LOL I haven't done much stitching, I seem to be stuck in a knitting mode. Hope you have a wonderful week.

    1. Angela,

I am so glad to see you back. I was worried that something had happened to your father or your family.

Yes, the cookies were too cute, but not too cute that I wasn't taking them to work.

Stitching is my break away from crocheting :)

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment.

I love fall patterns. The fact that it is by one of my favorite designers is an extra plus in its favor.

  3. Wonderful stitching. What a lovely little owl - and you chose a nice fall colour.

I love the days of late summer and early autumn - but only when it's not hot. We were having an ugly hear wave last week, the only one that bothered me this summer. The rest of the summer was wet and cool - just the way I like it, lol.

Now you made me very curious to have a look at the newest JCS magazine. I can't get it here but maybe one of my usual ONS has it. Or I'll order a digital copy.

    1. Our summers are nothing more than a constant heat wave! LOL I would rather have spring or fall weather over summer.

Yes, you must check out the new JCS magazines! So many cute patterns.
