My friend Kristina has been asking me for a while to make her a nine-tail fox. I started to make one on Sunday.......which was funny because a few days later she was texting me with links for patterns to make one! Since I was planning on doing something different for Christmas, I gave her the fox as a surprise yesterday night at our anime night.
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft pumpkin and white
Hook: size G
Notions: 10mm safety eyes and black felt
Start/Finish: 7/28 - 8/1/2013
Since the tail on this pattern was a normal one that was big enough for the ami, I had to modify it in order to fit nine tails on my fox. I also modified the arms and legs.
I will say that this guy is so adorable that I was very VERY tempted to keep him for myself, but I will have to suffice by making my own!
