Yesterday afternoon, I was going through the kitchen cupboards to see if I had ingredients to make Paula Deen's orange brownies this upcoming weekend for my birthday. I was checking the orange extract to see if it had a date on it and noticed a recipe on the back of the box for orange kissed brownies. Quite simple really, you take a boxed brownie mix and prepare it like usual and you add a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and a tablespoon of orange extract and viola! yummy orange kissed brownies.
I baked up a batch of them this morning after returning from the grocery store! And of course, I had to share them with my family. They are quite good, just a hint of orange that is not overpowering at all. I definitely recommend trying your hand at them!
