Perler Fun!

Kristina and I weren't able to make it to the Artwalk......along with all other vendors.....the weather was terrible. Since then I've made several Perler bead cuties....

And I've organized my Perler beads. Beginners in Perler beads always make the wrong choice and buy the tub of assorted beads. Sure, you think it's great, but it really isn't when you need several of one color and have to sort through the beads to find them.
Woohoo! Organized beads......not the most excited task ever.....but at least it gave me a chance to watch a few Dark Shadows episodes!

Sunday crafting

Some more fun today! I went by Michael's this morning to get a large basket to hold all my yarn that has been taking over the house! I wandered into their Perler bead section, which is so much better than Hobby Lobby's! They have individual color packages that you can buy. Granted you could probably buy them cheaper on eBay, etc, but I bought several packs of white and black anyway ;)

I made another milk carton to go with the juice carton! Too cute! I like the Link coaster, but I think next time I won't follow the pattern and just make his hair completely yellow and his face a cream color.

This week I'm hoping to finish up a Totoro amigurumi that I have been working on. It is quite large! Egads!!! Luckily when I was at Michael's they had the color of Caron yarn that I needed to continue working on my Totoro :)

Until next time ^____^

Saturday Fun!

Perler beads are addictive~! My favorite is the milk carton, but I need to redo it because some of the colors bled together because I had the iron on it for too long. I also hope to make a juice carton to go along with it as a set of coasters ;)

I love the cake too.....next time I hope to make the bottom layer pink instead of yellow.

Until next time ^____^
